Bishop Cotton Boys’ School organized an engaging Personal Hygiene Awareness Session for students of Grades 4 and 5, aimed at promoting healthy habits and emphasizing the importance of cleanliness in daily life.
The programme commenced with praise and worship led by Mr. Samson, followed by anchoring by Mrs. Ashwitha Shelomith, Bible reading and prayer by Mrs. Glory and Mrs. Tanya. The highlight was an insightful session by Special Guest Speaker Dr. Supriya, who addressed seven key areas of personal hygiene—daily bathing, hand washing, dental hygiene, nail care, cough and sneeze etiquette, food hygiene, and sleep hygiene.
The session was made interactive through practical examples and visual aids. Mrs. Jayalakshmi and Mrs. Novina, dressed as clowns, presented humorous and meaningful skits highlighting the impact of poor hygiene on individuals and those around them.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Deborah Dorcas, acknowledging the support of the Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinators and teachers.
